About Anubis
Anubis is a 12-year-old neutered male Labrador. The first sign was an enlarged lymph node noticed on April 27, 2026. Within weeks he was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma, confirmed by PARR and flow cytometry (CD8+ peripheral T-cell). The disease has been refractory to chemotherapy so far.
His family scans the tumor daily with Scaniverse, a LiDAR-based 3D capture app that produces real-world-scale models. Those scans, plus daily quality-of-life observations, are logged here in one place.
Why this site exists
Two reasons. First, the oncologist gets objective, longitudinal data (especially tumor size and volume over time) instead of single-visit snapshots. The numbers here inform real treatment decisions, so accuracy and consistency matter.
Second, when a dog gets a refractory T-cell diagnosis, the owner goes searching and finds almost nothing helpful online. This log is public so that the next person who searches finds at least one honest, detailed account of what it looks like day to day.
About the data
Tumor volume is estimated from three caliper-style measurements using an ellipsoid formula. It is a crude estimate, but it is consistent, which makes the trend meaningful. All measurements are metric. The full dataset is downloadable as CSV from the link in the footer.
